1.Captain America: Civil War

When I first heard about this film, I was really excited because it will feature new superhero’s.

This film is produced by Marvel studios. First, I will tell you about the actors of the film. This film cast includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Tom Holland, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Daniel Brühl. 

This film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. You can say that It is the sequel to Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It held its world premiere in Los Angeles on April 12, 2016, and was released in the United States on May 6th, 2016, in 3D and IMAX 3D.

Let’s talk about the trailer of the film. The first trailer of the film was released in November 2015. In the trailer we can see some new characters besides Captain America and Barnes. We can see most of the Avenger’s characters in this film. Barnes is the old friend of Captain America. If you don’t know the whole story, please watch previous films and catch up. 

Well, this film caught the eye of the audience because title says it all, a civil war. In previous marvel movies like Avengers and Avengers 2, we have seen a common enemy. But in this movie we see superhero fighting another superhero. It’s very interesting to watch the fight between two superhero teams.

The Story and Review of Captain America: Civil War

So now I will tell you about the story of the film. In the beginning, we see Barnes tied up on a chair in Hydra facility which is controlled by some country's military force. A man comes up to Barnes and read some code words which some triggers the switch inside Barnes. Then Barnes is given a mission which he completes successfully. Well, in the present day as shown in the film, some Avengers characters are trying to stop an attack on the institute of infectious diseases. This is the first battle scene in the film where we can see Captain America in action. Elizabeth Olsen in trying to save Captain America, accidentally blows up the whole building. This is the turning point of the film. She starts feeling guilty. And news starts broadcasting Avengers as a threat. 

There should be accountability for the action of Avengers. So some Avengers agree to work with government, including Iron Man. But Captain America refuses the agreement. So the government gets the tip on the location of Barnes. Captain reaches to him first and try to convince him. But military breaks in. so another fighting seen starts. Here Panther appears on the scene and starts fighting Barnes. I was blown away from the entry of the Panther. It was epic. So in the end all get arrested. So a man come into a prison and read those code words to Barnes. Barnes turns into a fighting robot and break through the prison. Captain believes that its not Barnes’s fault, so he defends him. Now Captain and Iron Man start recruiting new members for their teams. We can see Spider-Man on Iron Man side. In this movie Spider-Man is much younger.  We can see the Ant Man. 

The fight between Captain’s team and Iron Man’s team happens at the airport. I must say this fight is epic. Barnes escapes in the end. Barnes goes to places where it all started. Captain follows Barnes. The rest of the team of Captain goes to prison. Iron Man gets the location of Barnes and fly to the place. Now this is a very important scene. The man who first time triggers the soldier in Barnes was also there. He shows a video to Iron Man in which his parents got killed by Barnes. This scene was very emotional for Iron Man. Iron Man lost his mind and wants to kill Barnes. So fight starts between Iron Man versus Barnes and Captain. In the end Iron Man comes to his senses and stop fighting. Captain America disappears from the Avengers, but he says in the movie that he will be there where he will be needed.

Final Thoughts

I think this is the best movie of 2016. It has everything. Action, comedy and thrill. The story of the movie is also strong. I would totally recommend it to everyone.

2.Deadpool

Deadpool is a very different type of superhero movie. We might not even call it a superhero movie.

The main cast includes Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand, and Stefan Kapičić. The film is directed by Tim Miller and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Deadpool premiered in Paris on February 8, 2016, and was released on February 12 in the United States.

Now let’s talk about the first trailer of the film. The first trailer of the film was released in august 2015 by the 20^th century fox. In the beginning of the trailer we can see Wade Wilson is suffering from cancer. We can also see Morena, Wade’s girlfriend. He is worried about his cancer and wants to get better so he can spend more time with his girlfriend. 

As we can see in the trailer, Wade is drinking in the bar. A mysterious looking guy comes to him. He says that he can make Wade better and somehow he can cure his cancer. The offer seems unreal to Wade. Wade thinks the mysterious man is messing around with him. But Wade accepts his offer. In trailer can see an experimental lab facility. Wade is laying on the bed. This mysterious man promises Wade that he can give him super powers. 

We see a doctor who is treating Wade. Then in the trailer we see an explosion. After that, trailer gets a lot cooler. Wade is now Deadpool and we can see his new costume which is in red color. It would not be wrong to say that his costume looks a bit like Spider-Man. But it’s still unique in a way. Wade wears swords on his back. In the scene we can see Wade sitting on the bridge. He is in a good mood. He is humming and drawing a cartoon sketch. I got a smile while watching this scene. So Wade jumps from the bridge into the car of robbers I guess. 

He starts fighting. The bad guys are firing at him and he is also firing back. Another thing we can see from the trailer is that Wade lives with a blind lady. And after the experiment Wade face got so messy. It’s hard to look at him. So by living with the blind lady he feels comfortable in the house. The trailer ends with the fighting scene and cool song.

The Story and Review of Deadpool

Now let’s move on toward the story of the movie. I will discuss it in detail. We will also get to know some other super characters in the movie. Wade is an ex special forces guy. He goes to a bar and meet a pretty woman. Her name is Vanessa. So they go home together, and have a one-night stand. Their one-night stand changes in relationship. They fall in love with each other. But later Wade is diagnosed with cancer. He gets very depressed. He wants to live with the love of his life. So he goes to the bar and starts drinking. 

A mysterious man from the secret organization comes to him. He claims that he knows Wade condition and can help him. He says that he can cure him and give him abilities which will cure his cancer. Wade hesitates first. But thinking about his girlfriend, he agrees to the man’s proposal. So Wade is taken to an unknown location. There he found himself in a laboratory. He sees around and freaks out. Here in the laboratory he meets Ajax and Angel Dust. Wade doesn't like them much. So Ajax injects him with a serum. Wade gets tortured daily for serum to work. We see lots of torture scenes in the movie. I advise you not to watch this movie with your kids. 

Many of the scenes are very violent. And also because language is not suitable for kids. So it’s made mostly for adults. So in the end Wade gets his powers, but he also gets disfigured permanently. He tries to escape from the lab and succeed. He tries to contact his girlfriend, but due to his disfigured face, he hesitates. So he meets his best friend weasel. They decided to take down the people who did this to him. In the process Wade gets interrupted by two X-men Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. They convince Wade to join X-men, but he declines the offer. Ajax and Angel Dust abduct Vanessa and tell Deadpool to meet them at a decommissioned helicarrier in a scrapyard. So Wade battles with the villain along with his friends Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Wade rescues Vanessa. And we get happy ending.

Final Thoughts

I don’t think that I have seen anything like this one before. I liked this film. Action is awesome in the movie. I would recommend it to adults.

3.The Angry Birds Movie

We all are familiar with the game angry birds. We have played angry birds on our cell phones and also on our computers. The game got so popular, especially among the kids. We can see different angry bird’s toys in the shops. Angry birds is a game in which, a bird is launched in the air using a catapult. The bird flies through the air and lands on the different objects. Objects may contain pigs inside them. In the game we have given a certain number of birds and we have to complete a task of destroying pigs. 

If we are able to destroy all pigs using a certain number of birds in a single attempt, we can move on to the next level. I played this game for a long time. I can say that it’s quite addictive. Now there are so many versions of angry birds available. You can play the game in different environments. I like the space version. I recommend that if you haven’t played this game yet, try it. Now let’s move on towards the movie.

It’s an animated movie and is directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly and written by Jon Vitti. Let’s talk about the cast of the movie. It includes Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Sean Penn, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Bill Hader and Peter Dinklage. It was released in the United States on May 20, 2016. Now let’s talk about the trailer of the movie. The first trailer was released in September 2015.

In the beginning of the trailer we see an island. In the next scene we see an angry bird of red color. He is sitting beneath the tree and eating a sandwich. Some female birds are sitting in the park and they are passing flirty signals to Red. Red thinks that female birds are flirting with him so he also responds to their signals. But few seconds later we see another bird sitting on the tree above Red. The signals were for that bird. That bird jumps from tree to the face of Red and moves towards female birds. This scene is hilarious. I laughed so hard. 

So in the next scene we see Red sleeping in his home. Suddenly a flower pot falls on his head. He goes out to check. He finds a kid bird playing soccer. So he kicks the kid bird instead of a ball, another, hilarious scene in the trailer. So Red finds himself in anger management class along with other mates. In trailer we can see a ship invading the island. From ship appears a green pig. Pig tries to make friendship with birds. And in the end of the trailer we see angry Red again taking on cardboard of bird.

 
The Story and Review of The Angry Birds Movie

Let me tell you a brief story of the movie now. Well the story starts with the Red. Red is seen getting late for a job. When he reaches the house of the customer, he accidentally breaks the egg. So he is sent to anger management classes. He makes friends in the class Chuck and Bomb. After a while, a ship arrives at the bay of bird’s island. From the ship comes a green pig. He became friends with the birds. But Red gets suspicious. So he with his friends goes to the ship and accidentally found a room full of pigs. Red tries to convince the whole island that pigs are deceiving them. But the birds start partying with the new found pigs. 

Red, Chuck and Bomb decide to go to the mighty eagle nest. When they reach the mighty eagle nest, they see an old eagle with a big belly. They get shocked. Eagle refuses to help them. When they return to the village, they see pigs stealing their eggs. So everybody was sad. Their eggs were gone. Red suggests that birds should attack piggy’s island. So birds invade piggy’s island. Birds use catapults to attack the piggy island. So fight starts. Meanwhile, mighty eagle also comes to the aid of birds. I can’t describe the whole action scene in the end. Fighting between pigs and birds was unbelievable. Even airplanes were used in the attacks. You have to see it yourself. In the end of the movie, everybody appreciates Red and they live happily ever after.

 
Final Thoughts

First time I saw this movie; I couldn’t control my laughter. I laughed so hard. In my opinion, this was the funniest movie of 2016. If this movie can’t make you laugh, then I don’t know what will.

4.Kung Fu Panda 3

This movie is unique than other animated movies. This animated movie is an action comedy featuring the amazing star cast.

The film features the voices of Jack Black, Bryan Cranston, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, J. K. Simmons, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, David Cross, Kate Hudson, James Hong, Randall Duk Kim and Jackie Chan. As you can see from the cast, many big stars have featured in this animated movie. Jack Black plays the main character in this animated movie. His character name is Po. Let me tell you about the Po. Po is a very interesting character. He is a funny guy and keeps on joking all the time. But at the same time, he is also known as dragon warrior. 

In other words, he is funny and fluffy and cute looking guy, but at the same time he is powerful ninja warrior. He is called the dragon warrior of the village. As you can see from the title, this is the third animated movie. If you have watched the first two movies, then I bet you are already a big fan of this franchise. If you haven’t watched the previous two animated movies, I recommend you watch them. The movie is produced by DreamWorks Animation, and distributed by 20th Century Fox. 

The film is written by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger and produced by Melissa Cobb, and executive produced by Guillermo Del Toro. This movie is directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni. It was released in theatres across the United States and Canada on January 29 in 3D animation, and on March 11 in the United Kingdom.

Let’s talk about the first trailer of the movie. The first trailer of the movie was released by Dreams Works back in June 2015. In the beginning of the trailer, we can see many Kung Fu warriors in action. The graphics of the movie look amazing. The angles and direction of the action moves look amazing. We can see tigress, monkey and snake in the trailer. 

We can also see Po in action. He is going through some obstacle course and bringing tea cup to his master. In the next scene we can see another panda eating in the restaurant. Po is looking at the panda and wondering, who is that guy. So the new panda tells his name Lee. And he says that he is looking for his son. He tells Po that he lost his son many years ago. Po tells that he also lost his family many years ago. So both of them exchange some sentences and then walk away from each other. The villagers take a big sigh like they know the relationship between the two but both pandas didn’t realize it. 

The Story and Review of Kung Fu Panda 3

Now let me tell you briefly about the story of the movie. The movie begins as we see master Oogway fighting enemy name Kai in the spirit realm. Kai has stolen many master’s chi and turned them into Jade charms. Master Oogway willing gets defeated and gives his chi to Kai but also warns him about the Dragon Warrior. Kai takes the warning seriously and leave in search of this warrior. 

Meanwhile, Master Shifu retires and gives responsibilities to Po. Po couldn’t become a good teacher and gets disappointed. Shifu tells him to be himself. Po returns home. There he sees another panda. Soon both pandas get familiar with each other. Meanwhile, the valley gets attacked by Jade statues of old master controlled by Kai. Po goes with his father to learn the art of chi. Father first says that he will teach him chi but relax first. But in the end Po finds out that father doesn’t know the art of chi. The Kai attacks the temple and destroy it. Also, steals the chi of Shifu and others. 

Tigress escapes and tells the Po everything. The village panics, but Po decides to train them. When the Kai attacks the panda village, they manage to hold on the Kai army. Po uses Wuxi finger hold on Kai to send him back to the Spirit Realm but fails as it only works on mortals. So both the Kai and Po go to Spirit Realm and fights. Po defeats the Kai and frees everyone.

Final Thoughts

I personally love Pandas. Hence, I love this movie. Reunion of Po with his father and other Pandas was the best thing for me in this movie. Story line was also good.

5.Finding Dory

Finding Dory is an emotional animated movie. This movie drives you through lots of emotions. The movie is a sequel to its previous movie Finding Nemo. Finding Nemo stole the hearts of many people through its heart touching story. If you haven’t watched Finding Nemo, I recommend you should watch it.

This film features the voices of Ellen DeGeneres and Albert Brooks, as well as the new voices of Hayden Rolence (replacing Alexander Gould), Ed O'Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy. 

Guys, if you haven’t watched any stuff about this movie, let me tell you tell, Nemo and Dory are fishes. And the animated movie story is mostly inside the ocean. The film premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on June 8, 2016, and was released in the United States on June 17, 2016.

Let’s talk about the first trailer of the movie. The first thing you see in the trailer is a Stingray fish which is carrying a bunch of little fish. Stingray is talking about migrating to the other fish. If you don’t know, Stingray is teacher fish in the movie. Children fish are the students and Stingray is the professor. So Stingray tells the student about migration. He tells that migration is where you originally came from. So in the next scene in the trailer, Dory gets a flashback about her family. 

Dory is a fish who has short term memory loss problem. She forgets all the time. So Dory suddenly has a flashback in the trailer of the film. Dory sees her parents in the flashback. So she tells Nemo and his dad that she misses them. So Dory wants to find her parents no matter what it takes. We can see a turtle in the trailer. And we also see a blue and white whale in the trailer. We also see other sea animals in the trailer. The most prominent is the octopus in the trailer other than main cast we already know from the previous movie. The octopus acts like a secret agent in the trailer. And that’s what we mostly see in the first trailer.

The Story and Review of Finding Dory

 Now let me tell you about the story of the movie briefly. The story begins with a class teach by the Stingray. It’s basically for kids, but Dory also tag along. Stingray talks about migration as I have told you earlier and Dory gets flashbacks of her family and decides to find them. Marlin and Nemo also decide to help Dory on her quest. So they joined the turtle named Crush who will give them rides to other side of the ocean. Crush drops them in the ocean at a certain location. 

Dory accidentally makes a squid angry, even when Marlin was forbidding her. Nemo almost got killed by a squid. So Marlin gets angry on Dory. So Dory gets hurt and decides to go to surface for help. Their Dory gets caught by fishing staff and transferred to quarantine. Dory meets hanks the octopus. Octopus decides to help Dory in exchange for her tag.so Dory gets flashbacks and starts remembering her home. She starts following the steps and at last reaches her home. But she doesn’t find her parents. She got pulled by the water current passing near her home. There Dory finally reunites with her parents. You have to see the movie to get the whole experience.

Final Thoughts

Great animated movie. Definitely watch it. Very emotional movie. Well thought out story. Happy endings.
