7.X-Men: Apocalypse

We are all familiar with the X-men movies. This is the latest film from X-men series. If you haven’t watched any X-men films, which is highly unlikely to happen, let me tell you a little about it. X-men movies contain people with different types of powers. Hence, they are different from normal human beings and called mutants. Professor X is a person who is considered pioneers of the mutant race in modern era. So he runs a school for mutants and gives them shelter. He provides them facilities and opportunities to enhance their powers and to use them for doing the good deeds. 

Professor X has a nemesis named Magneto. Magneto believes and thoughts are very different from Professor X. Magneto consider humans a threat to mutants. But Professor X believes that mutants and human can work together and can create peaceful world. So this is a little background story about X-men. This movie is a very interesting as compared to its predecessors. In this movie we will find out how it all began. This movie takes us to the rise of very first mutant and his birth. I find this X-men movie very interesting.

Information about X-Men: Apocalypse

It is directed by Bryan Singer, with a screenplay by Simon Kinberg from a story conceived by Singer, Kinberg, Michael Dougherty and Harris. The film stars cast includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, and Lucas Till. X-Men: Apocalypse premiered in London on May 9, 2016, and was released in North America on May 27 in 3D and 2D, and in IMAX 3D.
 

Trailer

Let’s talk about the trailer of the movie. It was released in the back of December 2015. First thing; I notice is that Sophie Turner is playing Jean. That’s exciting to see, it begins as Jean wakes up and tells that she saw end of the world. And Professor X is sitting next to her and tells her that it’s just a dream. In the next scene, a mysterious mutant comes and says he’s called by many names. 

We see a file report, shown by CIA agent to Professor X and they believe that first mutant was born tens of thousands of years ago. We see a glimpse of this first mutant and he says you fall because you have been following blind leaders. Then we also find from the trailer that this mutant always had four followers. We see lots of amazing graphics and powerful mutant says we will have built the better world. 

The Story and Review of X-Men: Apocalypse

Let me tell you about the brief story of the movie. Nur is the name of mutant whom we can see in Egypt. He is buried alive along with his four lieutenants in pyramid. After many years, he wakes up in 1983 and finds the world very weak. He recruits a mutant who can control the weather. He also recruits Angel and give them both much more power than they already have. In Poland, we see a mutant name Erik living with his family. He works in a factory. His power is to control metal. One day, he saves his coworker from giant metal falling on him and hence gets exposed. Military hunts him and accidentally kills his family. In revenge, he kills all the military using his powers. Erik joins the Nur. Nur comes to the school and kidnaps professor X.

In trying to save everyone, Alex blows up the whole mansion. But just in time, Peter arrives who can run extremely fast and saved most of the students. Nur tells Magneto to create the north-south pole magnetic field which will destroy the Earth. Nur plans to transfer his consciousness into Professor X body so he will have access to every mutant on the planet. But Professor X sends a telepathic signal to Jean. X-men comes and fight the Nur and his army. In the end X-men wins and starts to reconstruct the school.

Final Thoughts

I think this movie is awesome. Villain in this movie is extremely dangerous and powerful. The cast including Sophie Turner was good. Action was amazing in the movie.
